Grand Valley State Moves Up to No. 4 in the Latest AFCA Division II Coaches' Top 25 Poll

WACO, TEX.– After a 20-12 victory over then-No. 8 Augustana (S.D.), the Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs still sit No. 1 in the AFCA Division II Coaches’ Top 25 Poll. The Bulldogs received 28 of 29 first place votes. Northwest Missouri State moves up to No. 2 and received the final first place vote after its 65-3 win over Truman State. Abilene Christian (Texas), Grand Valley State (Mich.) and North Alabama round out the Top 5. Former No. 2 Delta State (Miss.) dropped to No. 11 after its loss to FCS member Northwestern State (La.), 24-23. Four new teams enter the poll this week with Carson-Newman (Tenn.) ranked at No. 20 followed by Colorado State-Pueblo at No. 21. Colorado School of Mines comes in a No. 24 and Pittsburg State (Kan.) enters the poll at No. 25 after an almost two-year absence from the poll.
