Three GLIAC Teams Appear in the D2Football.com Top 25 Poll

BAY CITY, Mich. - Three Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) teams earned rankings in the D2Football.com Top 25 poll, released on Tuesday, Sept. 6.

Grand Valley State University moved up one place to No. 3 in the D2Football.com poll, while Wayne State University jumped eight spots to No. 16. Michigan Technological University made its season debut in the poll at No. 22.

The Lakers, defeated Western Oregon 44-20 at home on Thursday, Sept. 1 at Lubbers Stadium. Wayne State, opened the season at home on Saturday, Sept. 3 with a 69-24 win over Urbana University (Ohio). Michigan Tech was voted into the poll after winning on the road at Winona St. 23-6.
