Ohio vs. Michigan College Football Senior Bowl Quarterbacks Announced

COLUMBUS, Ohio – GameDay Management is proud to announce the quarterbacks for the 2013 Ohio vs. Michigan College Football Senior Bowl presented by the Ohio Army National Guard.  The Senior Bowl will feature the top signal callers from the Mid-American Conference (MAC), Great Lakes Intercollege Athletic Conference (GLIAC) as well as the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC).

Team Ohio will showcase Kent State’s Spencer Keith (Little Rock, Ark.) and Denison’s Max Paulus (Massillon, Ohio) while Team Michigan will counter with Central Michigan’s Ryan Radcliff (Sherwood, Ohio) and Hillsdale’s Anthony Mifsud (Dearborn, Mich.).

The 2013 Ohio vs. Michigan College Football Senior Bowl is set for 1:00 p.m. (ET) on Saturday, April 20 at the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Fawcett Stadium in Canton, Ohio. 

“This is an outstanding quarterback class as all four have excelled during their collegiate careers,” GameDay Management President Todd Oliver said.  “Each of these guys possesses great size, arm strength and athleticism but more importantly they are tremendous leaders with high character.”

Keith, a four-year starter for the Golden Flashes, is Kent State’s career leader in passing yards (8,062) and completions (732), while his 45 touchdowns passes are second best in school history.  He finished the 2012 season with 2,021 passing yards and 12 touchdowns; leading KSU to an 11-3 record and a trip to the MAC Championship Game and the GoDaddy.com Bowl.

Paulus, a Massillon native, was a three-year starter for the Big Red.  Paulus finished his career as the all-time leader in passing yards (6,545), touchdowns (53) and completions (587).  The two-time HM All-NCAC selection, finished the 2012 season passing for 2,117 yards and 18 touchdowns.

Radcliff, a three-year starter for CMU, finished his stellar career second in the program history in passing yards (9,917), attempts (1,349), completions (791), touchdown passes (65), total offense (9,765) and games with 300+ passing yards (14).  He directed the Chippewas to a 7-6 record in 2012 and earned the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl MVP honors after passing for 253 yards and three touchdowns in a 24-21 win over Western Kentucky.  The Ohio native finished the 2012 campaign throwing for 3,158 yards and 23 touchdowns.

Mifsud helped guide the Chargers to their second straight GLIAC North Division championship after posting a 7-4 record and passing for 2,108 and 18 touchdowns in 2012.  A two-time HM All-GLIAC performer, Mifsud finished his career ranked seventh in school history with 4,628 passing yards and 36 touchdowns.

About the Ohio vs. Michigan Senior Bowl

The 2013 Ohio vs. Michigan Senior marks the fourth year of the Senior Bowl, but the first with the Ohio vs. Michigan format.  The Senior Bowl features the top collegiate football players from Ohio and Michigan from all divisions including - NCAA FBS, FCS, DII, DIII and NAIA.
