BAY CITY, Mich. - Week #9 of the 2013 college football season starts the eighth weekend of league play for the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) which has two teams ranked in the latest American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division II Top 25 poll.
The two GLIAC teams ranked in the latest AFCA Division II Top 25 poll are #14 Ohio Dominican University and #23 Saginaw Valley State University.
Ohio Dominican (7-0, 6-0 GLIAC) is coming off a bye week last week, and looks to improve on its unbeaten record when it travels to Tiffin University (2-6, 1-5 GLIAC). Kick off from Frost-Kalnow Stadium is set for 1:30 p.m. tomorrow afternoon. The Dragons are coming of a one point loss last week to Walsh University, 30-29, last weekend.
Saginaw Valley State (7-1, 7-0 GLIAC), moved up in the latest AFCA D-II Coaches’ Poll to No. 23 after a 47-34 win over Hillsdale College last Saturday. The Cardinals will look to improve on their unbeaten GLIAC record tomorrow afternoon at 1:00 p.m. when they travel to Michigan Technological University (4-3, 4-3 GLIAC). The Huskies are coming off a 30-27 loss to Ferris State University last weekend.
