GVSU Leads Football Region Rankings Headed into Final Week

BAY CITY, Mich. -- The third NCAA Division II Football Regional Rankings of 2016 have been released and the Grand Valley State Lakers remain atop the Super Region Four rankings with one week remaining in the regular season. GVSU is joined by No. 6 Ferris State and No. 9 Ashland.

The top seven programs in the region at the end of the regular season will qualify for the NCAA Division II Football Playoffs with the No. 1 seed will receiving a first-round bye. Super Region Four consists of schools from the GLIAC, the Lone Star Conference, the Great Lakes Valley Conference and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.

The NCAA Division II Football Selection Show will take place Sunday, November 13th at 5 PM live on NCAA.com.
