WACO, TEX.– Ferris State moved up to No. 2 in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division II Coaches' Top 25 Poll after opening the year on an idle week. Grand Valley State dropped to No. 14 following a Week 1 loss on the road in Indianapolis.
Ferris State opens the season this Saturday with a road tilt at Findlay who is receiving votes in this week's poll. Grand Valley State welcomes Davenport to Lubbers Stadium for the first time this weekend, while Ashland is also receiving votes prior to hosting Ohio Dominican.
