Four GLIAC Programs Earn Super Region 3 Football Ranking

BAY CITY, Mich. -- The first NCAA Division II Football Regional Rankings of 2017 have been released and four Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) football programs are ranked inside the Top 10 led by Ashland at No. 4 followed by Ferris State at No. 5, while Grand Valley State is positioned No. 7 along with Tiffin in the No. 10 spot.

The top seven programs in the region at the end of the regular season will qualify for the NCAA Division II Football Playoffs with the No. 1 seed will receiving a first-round bye. Super Region Four consists of schools from the GLIAC, the Great American Conference (GAC), the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) and the Mid America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA).
