Davenport made history on Saturday by earning its first GLIAC victory in dramatic fashion with a 23-21 victory on the road in Houghton over Michigan Tech. Haiden Majewski and Keion Powers connected on three touchdown passes for DU including two in the final 4:28 including the game-winning score with just 10 seconds left on a highlight reel caliber play to give the Panthers the win. Majewski finished with 265 yards passing and three scores, while Powers was the recipients of all three TD passes as he amassed seven catches for 126 yards in the win.

Saginaw Valley improved to 3-0 on the year as the Cardinals rallied from 20-7 down in the fourth quarter to stun Truman State, 21-20. SVSU quarterback Ryan Conklin connected with wideout Chad Galliard from two yards out with 15 seconds remaining to complete the comeback. Galliard and his teammate Marcus Edmondson both finished the contest with eight receptions each for SVSU in the victory.

Grand Valley State took its No. 5 ranking on the road at Northern Michigan and had no problem dispatching the Wildcats as the Lakers racked up 546 yards of total offense and converted on 9-of-13 third down opportunities. GVSU QB Bart Williams had a big day with five touchdowns (four passing, one rushing), while Chawntez Moss went for 130 yards on the ground. Williams connected with Nick Dodson eight times for 129 yards and two scores.

No. 6 Ferris State was dominant once again handling Northwood 53-10 on the road in Midland. The Bulldogs produced 606 yards of total offense and were once again paced by QB Jayru Campbell's 323 yards of total offense and four touchdowns. Keyondre Craig also caught three balls for 162 yards, including a 39-yard scamper to paydirt.

The nightcap featured Ashland picking up its first win of the year with a 30-21 road victory over Wayne State. With the score knotted up at 14s after two quarters, Ashland put up 10 in the third before WSU crept back cutting it to 24-21 early in the fourth. However, a pair of Satchel Denton field goals and stellar AU defense prevented the Warriors from getting any closer. Andrew Vaughn led the Eagles on offense with 135 yards rushing on only 14 carries with two touchdowns.
