OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Jayru Campbell - Ferris State

Ferris State University junior quarterback Jayru Campbell had another stellar performance on Saturday (Oct. 6) in leading the third-ranked Bulldogs to a decisive 42-24 triumph over Michigan Tech in the "Battle At The Ballpark" played at Fifth Third Ballpark in Comstock Park. The nation's leader in passing efficiency, Campbell completed 20-of-24 throws for 291 yards and three scores while adding 33 yards rushing on 12 attempts with another score. All told, he accounted for more than 300 yards of total offense and four scores as the Bulldogs rolled up 616 yards of total offense. Campbell did not play in the final quarter for FSU, which remained unbeaten at 6-0 overall and 4-0 in the GLIAC.
