WACO, TEX. – Two Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference football programs find themselves ranked inside the top-25 in the first American Football Coaches Association Poll. Ferris State remained second behind Valdosta St. following their 24-23 victory over Findlay, while Grand Valley St. moved up 2 spots with a win at home against Edinboro.
Ashland dropped out of the top-25 but remains one of the three GLIAC programs receiving votes. Saginaw Valley St. and Michigan Tech are also listed in the others receiving votes category outside the top-25 rankings.
