BAY CITY, Mich. - The second week of the 2009 NCAA Division II football playoffs finds just two Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) teams remaining in postseason play. Hillsdale College and Grand Valle State University will meet in the Super Region #3 semifinals in Allenddale (Mich.) on Saturday.

FLORENCE, Ala. -- A field of 24 candidates has been trimmed to nine national finalists in regional voting for the Harlon Hill Trophy as the NCAA Division II College Football Player of the Year.

BAY CITY, Mich. - Hillsdale College and Grand Valley State University will meet for the second time this season on Saturday when the Chargers visit Allendale (Mich.) for an NCAA Division II Super Region #3 semifinal contest. Hillsdale claimed the first meeting between these two teams back on Oct. 10, 27-24, in Hillsdale.
