D-II Bulletin Names Michigan Tech's Haidar to Preseason Super 16 Team

BEAVERTON, Ore. - The Division Ii Bulletin has named Michigan Technological University senior forward-center Ali Haidar (Windsor, Ontario/Forster) to its Preseason Super 16 Team.  Haidar was one of two player from the Midwest Region selected to the team.

Haidar garnered GLIAC "Player of the Year" accolades after ranking 38th in the nation in scoring with 19.1 points per game in the 2011-12 season. The Windsor, Ontario, native averaged 9.4 rebounds per game, 19th best in the nation, and finished with 14 double-doubles, 10th most in the league. He currently ranks 15th in school history with 1,272 points.
