BAY CITY, Mich. - Ferris State University senior guard Kenny Brown (Farmington Hills, Mich./Harrison) and Malone University junior guard Isiah Elliot (Canton,Ohio) have been chosen as the GLIAC Men's Basketball North and South Division "Players of the Week", respectively.

Ferris State University senior guard Kenny Brown led the Bulldogs to two league victories over the weekend and hit two big buzzer-beaters in the process. Brown tallied a game-high 26 points with eight rebounds and two steals in Thursday's exciting 72-68 double overtime triumph over league leader and previously unbeaten Wayne State. In the two games, Brown averaged 20.5 points and 5.0 rebounds while totaling 41 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and three steals. He also made six-of-13 (.462) three's on the week.

Isiah Elliott

Malone University junior Isiah Elliott helped the Pioneers register a 1-1 record last week by averaging 24.0 points, four assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals per contest. He racked up 27 points, four assists and three rebounds in Malone's 79-58 home victory over Hillsdale on Thursday Elliott then registered a game-high 21 points to go with four rebounds, and four assists in the Pioneers' 74-62 defeat at Findlay on Saturday. He currently ranks third in the GLIAC in scoring, fourth in assists and fourth in steals.
