BAY CITY, Mich. - Michigan Technological University senior guard Austin Armga (Waupun, Wis.) and University of Findlay senior forward Greg Kahlig (Ft. Recovery, Ohio/Ft. Recovery) have been chosen as the GLIAC Men's Basketball North and South Division "Players of the Week", respectively.

Michigan Technological University
senior guard Austin Armga averaged 22 points and six rebounds in a
pair of wins last week. He scored 19 points, with 11 of them coming
from the free throw line, in a 63-55 win over Wayne State on
Thursday. In a 68-53 win over Saginaw Valley State on Saturday,
Armga scored a game-high 25 points on 9-for-17 shooting, after
being honored before the game on Senior Day. He continues to climb
Michigan Tech’s scoring chart and is up to 13th all-time with
1,376 points. He also continues to lead the GLIAC in scoring,
averaging 23.2 points per game.

University of Findlay senior forward Greg Kahlig led the Oilers
to a pair of wins on the road last week by averaging 28.5 points,
4.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game. Kahlig began the
week with 17 points in the Oilers 69-55 win at Ashland. He
then closed the week with a career-high 40 points in
Findlay’s 79-69 win at Lake Erie. The 40 points scored
by Kahlig were the most an Oilers player had scored since Kyle Hunt
put up 42 against Benedictine on Dec. 14, 2000. The Ft.
Recovery, Ohio native is averaging 22.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and
3.2 assists per game for Findlay this season.
