BAY CITY, Mich. - Michigan Technological University senior guard Austin Armga (Waupun, Ohio/Waupun) and Walsh University sophomore guard Jesse Hardin (Warren, Ohio/Harding) have been chosen as the GLIAC Men's Basketball North and South Division "Players of the Week", respectively.

Michigan Technological University Senior guard Austin Armga led Michigan Tech to a split during the first weekend of GLIAC play. He scored 28 points on 11-of-15 shooting in an 81-55 win over Malone on Thursday. Armga also tallied a career-high seven assists and had six rebounds in the game. Against Walsh on Saturday, Armga scored 32 points on 12-for-19 shooting and added six rebounds. Armga leads the GLIAC in scoring, averaging 30 points per game and is shooting 67.5 percent (fourth in the GLIAC).

Walsh University sophomore guard Jesse Hardin averaged 25.0 points per game in road wins at Northern Michigan and Michigan Tech.Hardin scored a career high 30 points at Michigan Tech, including 17 first half points on 7-11 from the floor while playing 38 minutes. The Cavs defeated Tech 93-83. Hardin scored 20 points at Northern Michigan as the Walsh defeated the Wildcats 95-66. Hardin is currently ninth in scoring (18.8) in the GLIAC. He also is leading the Cavs in scoring and is shooting 53% from the field and 41% from three-point.
