Tiffin (4-6, 1-3 GLIAC) 82 def. No. 1 Saginaw Valley (9-1, 3-1 GLIAC) 76 | BOX SCORE

Tiffin's Tony Kynard came off the bench to produce 23 points on 9-of-13 shooting, while Khaleal McCormick scored 22 points and pulled down 10 rebounds as the Dragons upset No. 1-ranked Saginaw Valley. TU outmuscled SVSU 20-5 on point in the paint and recorded 33 points from the bench as the Dragons shot 47 percent on the day. SVSU standout C.J. Turnage posted 14 points and 14 rebounds in the loss.


Wayne State (7-1, 4-0 GLIAC) 61 def. Ashland (6-3, 2-2 GLIAC) 56 | BOX SCORE

Only four games in to the GLIAC schedule, Wayne State is the lone team to remain unbeaten through four league contests. WSU guard Marcus Moore paced the Warriors with 17 points, while forward Chuck Key notched 16 points and eight rebounds. Wayne State shot 50 percent for the game as Ashland managed 41.7 percent.


Ferris State 87 (6-3, 2-2 GLIAC) def. Hillsdale 73 (4-6, 0-4 GLIAC) | BOX SCORE

Ferris State went 24-for-26 from the free throw line and outrebounded Hillsdale by a 42-29 margin in a hard-fought road victory. FSU sophomore center Zach Hankins recorded a game-high 22 points on 9-of-14 shooting, nine rebounds, four assists and four blocks in the road victory. Bulldog guard Drew Cushingberry finished with 18 points, including 9-for-9 from the free throw line.


Lake Superior State 90 (4-2, 2-1 GLIAC) def. Findlay 85 (5-2, 2-2 GLIAC) | BOX SCORE

In a contest featuring 28 made three-point baskets, Lake Superior guard Akaemji Williams recorded 32 points on 11-of-20 shooting and 8-of-10 from the line to go with eight assists, while his teammate forward Blake Marquardt posted 28 points on 8-of-10 shooting from beyond the arc. Laker center Michael Nicholson recorded 14 points and an impressive 18 rebounds, while Findlay was led by guard Martyce Kimbrough's 38 points on 8-of-16 three-point shooting.


Grand Valley State 79 (7-4, 3-1 GLIAC) def. Walsh 58 (7-2, 2-2 GLIAC) | BOX SCORE

GVSU shot 54.5 percent on the day and outscored Walsh in the paint by a 44-22 margin en route to a road victory. Chris Dorsey led the Lakers with 17 points on 8-of-9 shooting with five rebounds, while Drake Baar pitched in with 14 points and six boards in the win. Walsh was led by Trey Fletcher's 23 points and six rebounds as GVSU held the advantage on the scoreboard through the contest holding WU to 30 points below its season average.


Michigan Tech 77 (5-5, 3-1 GLIAC) def. Ohio Dominican 56 (6-3, 2-2 GLIAC) | BOX SCORE

Michigan Tech foward Kyle Monroe scored 30 points on 12-of-17 shooting from the field along with nine rebounds as the Huskies picked up a 21-point road victory after the Huskies shot 52.6 percent on the afternoon. The Huskies capitalized on 15 ODU turnovers which they converted into 24 points. On the day, Michigan Tech connected on 12 triples to lead by as many as 30 points.


Northern Michigan 82 (3-5, 1-2 GLIAC) vs. Lake Erie 67 (1-10, 1-3 GLIAC) | BOX SCORE

Northern Michigan's Naba Echols recorded a game-high 24 points on 8-of-12 shooting and five assists to lead the Wildcats to a road victory over Lake Erie. The Wildcats fired 55.4 percent from the field using an impressive 64.3 shooting performance in the first half to maintain a 44-21 halftime edge. Isaiah Johnson also posted 19 points and five rebounds in the NMU victory.
