INDIANAPOLIS -- Four Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) men's basketball teams appeared in the second NCAA Division II Midwest Region Rankings of 2017 released on Wednesday (Feb. 22).

The GLIAC-leading Ferris State Bulldogs continue to occupy the No. 3 spot in the region to pace the conference, while Findlay sits two spot back in the No. 5 hole for the second straight week. Lake Superior State (No. 9) and Wayne State (No. 10) flip-flopped from last week's ranks and will need some help to get inside the Top 8.

The Midwest Region includes schools from the GLIAC, the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) and the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC). The GLVC holds five regional ranking positions, while the G-MAC is represented by Kentucky Wesleyan at No. 4.

The 2016 NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Tournament Selection Show will take place on Sunday, March 5th at 10:30 PM on NCAA.com. The Top 8 in each region will qualify for the postseason championships.
