The No. 5 Ferris State Bulldogs finished the game on a 14-5 run over the final 2:34 of the contest, kickstarted by a couple Noah King triples on consecutive possessions, to earn a big road win in Midland over Northwood. FSU won the points off turnovers battle by an 18-7 margin and were led by King's game-high 18 points. Northwood's bench produced 38 points on the night to keep the Timberwolves in the contest with Alec Marty's 15 points setting the pace.

Lake Superior State led throughout the contest and won nearly every statistical category to improve to 8-1 on the year. The Lakers outrebounded SVSU by a 34-25 margin while forcing the Cardinals into 22 turnovers which resulted in 22 Lake State points. LSSU produced 18 more shot attempts and created 16 second-chance points, including 45 points from its bench. Lake State put 14 different players in the game with no individual playing more than 23 minutes. Michael Nicholson paced LSSU with 18 points, while Akaemji Williams recorded 10 points, seven assists and four steals Malik Garner led SVSU with 18 points and a career-high six boards.

Davenport moved into the lead of the GLIAC South at 3-0 following a huge second half on the road in Tiffin where the Panthers shot 67.9 percent from the floor to pull out the win. DU fired 45 percent from the arc and won the points off turnovers battle by a 20-9 margin, while receiving 39 bench points compared to 11 for Tiffin. DU was led by Avery Hudson's 13 points and five steals, while Wes Webbert added 10 points. Tiffin's Shane Waldon and Alex Brown produced a game-high 14 points a piece.
MICHIGAN TECH DEF. GRAND VALLEY STATE, 78-68 | BOX SCORE
Michigan Tech improved to 3-0 in the league after a big first-half effort which saw the Huskies lead by 18 points at the break. Reigning GLIAC Player of the Week Kyle Monroe remained on fired with a game-high 28 points and 13 rebounds, including 16-for-16 from the foul line. Bryan Heath pitched in with 19 points for the Huskies, while Dillon Gordon dropped in 15 points. Tech never trailed in the game and went 26-for-30 from the free throw stripe.
ASHLAND DEF. WAYNE STATE, 70-48 | BOX SCORE
Ashland jumped out to a 15-point halftime lead thanks to a 63.6 percent shooting performance in the first half to come away with its first league win. For the contest, AU shot 52.9 percent and outrebounded WSU 40-29 to key the victory. Drew Noble guided the Eagles with a game-high 17 points and eight rebounds, while Ben Haraway recorded 14 points.
NORTHERN MICHIGAN DEF. PURDUE NORTHWEST, 80-73 | BOX SCORE
Northern Michigan receive a big effort from its bench (27 points) on Thursday night to earn a big road win against GLIAC newcomer Purdue Northwest. Both teams clicked offensively shooting over 50 percent. NMU recorded five players in double-digit scoring paced by Naba Echols 16 points, seven assists and six rebounds. Purdue Northwest was guided by Torrance Johnson's game-high 21 points and nine boards in the defeat.
