#5 FERRIS STATE DEF. SAGINAW VALLEY, 81-45 | BOX SCORE

Ferris State remained unbeaten on the year at 12-0 as the Bulldogs limited SVSU to just 28.1 percent shooting and outrebounded the Cardinals by a 43-33 margin, including a massive 50-18 points in the paint advantage. Ferris State also owned a 24-3 points off turnovers edge as reigning GLIAC Player of the Year Zach Hankins posted a game-high 19 points (7-for-7 FG), eight rebounds and five blocks in the win.

#24 LAKE SUPERIOR STATE DEF. NORTHWOOD, 92-76 | BOX SCORE

Akaemji Williams posted a game-high 27 points, including 19 second half points and seven assists to lead Lake State to a big road win over Northwood on Saturday. LSSU fired 58.3 percent from the floor in a tight-contested game featuring seven ties and five lead changes. The Lakers took control the second half where they shot 69 percent on 20-of-29 from the floor.

MICHIGAN TECH DEF. PURDUE NORTHWEST, 75-66 | BOX SCORE

Michigan Tech finished the contest on a 20-6 run over the last 6:33 to earn the come-from-behind victory over GLIAC newcomer Purdue Northwest. Kyle Monroe once again was a scoring machine posted a game-high 29 points and eight rebounds, including 11-for-11 from the line and 22 of his points coming in the second half. Tyree Coe paced the Pride with 23 points, while Torrance Johnson recorded a double-double with 16 points and 10 boards. Tech won the points off turnovers battle 18-7 as MTU committed just five turnovers on the night and went 21-for-22 from the free throw line.

NORTHERN MICHIGAN DEF. GRAND VALLEY STATE, 71-68 (OT) | BOX SCORE

Naba Echols canned a late three-pointer to send the contest into overtime as the Wildcats edged out the Lakers on the road to remain perfect on conference action. Echols posted a game-high 21 points on 11-of-12 from the free throw line to guide Northern Michigan to the win, while Isaiah Johnson recorded a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds. GVSU received a team-high 16 points and six rebounds from Drake Baar off the bench, while Zach West reocrded nine points and 12 rebounds.

ASHLAND DEF. DAVENPORT, 86-65 | BOX SCORE

Ashland's Joey Zahn came off the bench to score a game-high 21 points on 7-of-9 shooting to lead the Eagles to victory, while Wendell Davis dominated to the tune of 20 points and 12 boards in the win. AU recorded five players in double-figures scoring as the Eagles shot 58.3 percent on the day, including an impressive 62.5 percent from beyond the arc which included 15 made three-pointers. 

WAYNE STATE DEF. TIFFIN, 58-56 | BOX SCORE

The Tiffin Dragons had a last-second triple miss the mark as Wayne State came away with a hard-fought victory on Saturday to move to 3-1 in league play. Ronald Booth paced the Warriors with a game-high 17 points, while Chuck Key provided 13 points and seven boards in the win. Tiffin's Austin Adams guided the Dragons with 15 points and six rebounds.
