Ferris State Captures Fourth Consecutive #GLIACMBB Tournament Championship

2018 GLIAC MEN'S BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT CENTRAL

GLIACMBB -- Ferris State University captured the 2018 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Men's Basketball Tournament Championship on Sunday (March 4) on the campus of Ferris State University inside Wink Arena. The Bulldogs defeated No. 2 seed Lake Superior State by a 69-61 final to capture their league record fourth consecutive GLIAC Tournament crown.

Two-time reigning GLIAC Player of the Year Zach Hankins posted 13 points on 6-for-6 shooting to go with 13 rebounds to lift the Bulldogs to their fourth straight GLIAC Tournament title. FSU fired 48.1 percent from the field and held LSSU to sub-40 percent. Ke'Montrece Collins guided the Lakers with a game-high 16 points in defeat. The Bulldogs went 12-for-17 from the foul line as LSSU only managed 6-of-14 from the stripe.
