Eagles are 16th in NABC DII Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Ashland men's basketball team moved up three spots in the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division II Poll, which was announced Tuesday.

The Eagles picked up two key Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference road victories last week, beating Grand Valley State, 74-63, and Davenport, 72-60. This week, they play host to Lawrence Tech in a non-conference tilt.

The top four spots remained the same, as Bellarmine stayed atop the poll and Northwest Missouri State, Indiana (Pa.) and Saint Anselm retained the next three spots. However, four of the next teams in last week's top 25 lost at least once last week, bringing Valdosta State up to No. 5.
