Ashland men and Grand Valley State women lead GLIAC in Midwest Region Rankings

INDIANAPOLIS - Ashland, at 16-4, leads Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men's basketball teams in the NCAA Midwest Region Poll for games through Feb. 17. The Eagles are ranked fourth.

Ferris State (15-9) and Northern Michigan (15-9) are seventh and eighth, respectively, in the men's poll. Bellarmine (19-3) leads the Midwest Region.

The 21-2 Grand Valley State women's basketball team is the GLIAC's top-ranked squad in the women's regional rankings. The Lakers are fourth, while Ashland (23-2) is fifth, Northern Michigan (18-6) sixth and Michigan Tech (18-7) . Drury (24-0) is the top-ranked women's team in the Midwest Region.
