FSU's Davidson receives GLIAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week honors

GLIAC -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced that Ferris State junior guard Ben Davidson has been named GLIAC Player of the Week following week seven of the 2022-23 men's basketball season.

Ferris State University junior guard Ben Davidson led a balanced Bulldog effort this past weekend as FSU rolled to a pair of non-conference home wins. Davidson scored a team-high tying 15 points per game while pulling down five rebounds a contest in decisive wins over Fanshawe (Ontario) and Lewis (Ill.) in non-league play. He scored 17 points with five rebounds, three assists and two steals in Thursday’s 114-60 win over the Falcons before coming back with 13 points, five boards and three assists in Saturday’s 97-73 regional win over the Flyers. For the week, he shot 52% from the floor and sank four three’s while totaling 30 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and two steals overall for the Bulldogs.
