WSU’s Jordan Andrus Chosen as GLIAC Men's Golf "Athlete of the Week"

BAY CITY, Mich. - Wayne State University redshirt freshman Jordan Andrus (Pinkney, Mich.) has been chosen as the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's (GLIAC) Men's Golf "Athlete of the Week."

Wayne State University redshirt freshman Jordan Andrus (Pinckney, Mich.) fired a day-two 71 to win the Lake Superior State Invitational on Tuesday with a 143 (72, 71). Andrus competed on the Warriors 'B' team. Andrus’ efforts helped Wayne State University hold onto its first round lead to win its first tournament of the fall with a 595 (303, 292) shaving 11 strokes from Monday's round. The Warriors had four of the top five finishers in the event.
