Wayne State’s Austin Hill Chosen as GLIAC Men's Golf "Athlete of the Week"

BAY CITY, Mich. - Wayne State University junior Austin Hill (Port Clinton, Ohio/Port Clinton) has been chosen as the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's (GLIAC) Men's Golf "Athlete of the Week."

(Junior, Troy, Mich./Avondale)

Wayne State University junior Austin Hill (Troy, Mich./Avondale) collects his third career GLIAC Golf  “Athlete of the Week” honor following his solid performance this past week. Hill won his second career tournament and collected fourth top five finish of the season at the UW-Parkside Invitational. Hill carded a 143 (70, 73) to tie for top individual honors at Otter Creek Golf Course in Columbus, Ind. For the season, he has a stroke average of 73.92 and has fired a low round of 70 on two occasions.
