Wayne State’s Jordan Andrus Chosen as GLIAC Men's Golf "Athlete of the Week"

BAY CITY, Mich. - Wayne State University redshirt freshman Jordan Andrus (Pinckney, Mich./Pinckney) has been chosen as the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's (GLIAC) Men's Golf "Athlete of the Week."

Wayne State University redshirt freshman Jordan Andrus collected his first GLIAC "Golfer of the Week" honor of the season after tying for second at the Purgatory Midwest Regional in Columbus, Ind. on Monday. Andrus led after the first 18 holes with a round of 69 (career low) but eventually fell in a three-man playoff. Andrus helped the Warriors collect their third team title of the season and first of the spring. He is averaging a round of 75.18 in his 22 rounds of competition this season.
