BAY CITY, Mich. - Malone University senior Tyler Light (Massillon, Ohio/Perry) has been chosen as the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's (GLIAC) Men's Golf "Athlete of the Week."

Malone University senior Tyler Light earned medalist honors at
the GLIAC South Tournament this past weekend at the Winding Hollow
Golf Course in New Albany, Ohio. Light shot a three-under-par 69 on
Sunday, the only sub-70 round of the event, to follow up his round
of 74 on Saturday. His two-day score of 143 (-1) was the only
sub-par score of the tournament, among 74 golfers. Malone won the
event among a 13-team field with a 36-hole score of 595
(303-292).
