GLIAC Earns Nine Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars

NORMAN, Okla. – Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars for Divisions I, II and the NAIA have been announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America. Overall, nine Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) men's golfers earned this high distinction.

Tiffin, in its final season as GLIAC members, gained three honorees, including Jordan Bollenbacher, Jay Green and Tomas Krivanec. Ashland's Austin Kondratick and Chandler Walnsch also achieved academic recognition along with Ryan Peruski and Dustin Pumford from Saginaw Valley State. Wayne State's Crawford McKinlay and Nikolas Senkowski rounded out the conference contingent.

To be eligible for Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar status an individual must be a junior or senior academically, compete in at least three full years at the collegiate level, participate in 50-percent of his team's competitive rounds, have a stroke-average under 78.0 in Division II, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university.
