BAY CITY, Mich. - Ohio Dominican University sophomore Brent Wahle (Pataskala, Ohio/Bishop Hartley) and Saginaw Valley State University freshman Aaron Gerwig (Frieburg, Germany) earned GLIAC Men's Soccer Offensive and Defensive "Athlete of the Week" awards, respectively.

Ohio Dominican University sophomore Brent Wahle scored both goals in 2-1 victory over Lake Erie on Sunday to help the Panthers to their fourth straight win. Wahle gave ODU the early 1-0 lead in the sixth minute of the first half for his fourth goal of the season. After the Storm tied the game 1-1, Wahle gave the Panthers the lead for good in the 84th minute with a goal 13 yards out. Wahle leads the Panthers with five goals and tied for third in the GLIAC.

Saginaw Valley State University freshman goalkeeper Aaron Gerwig registered three saves on three shots in games against Malone and Walsh, allowing no goals in the Cardinals two matches last week. The two shutouts gives Gerwig four on the season. Gerwig also leads the GLIAC statistically in save percentage (.870), goalst against (6) and goals-against average (0.59).
