QUINCY, Ill. – Quincy University senior forward Jordan Roberts has been named the Daktronics, Inc. Midwest Region Player of the Year, leading a group of six Hawks to be named to the all-region teams. The Daktronics Player of the Year award and all-region teams are nominated and selected by the region’s sports information directors.
Joining Roberts on the Daktronics All-Midwest Region first team are Cedarville’s Connor Gilmour; Drury’s Alec Nagel; Lewis’ David Pyle; Missouri-St. Louis’ Jon Huelsman; Northwood’s Mike Ankoviak and Keaton Levock; Quincy’s Xhovani Dokaj, Drew Duncan, and Chris Garavaglia; Saginaw Valley State’s Craig Neal; and Tiffin’s Andre Landell and Samuel Oki.
The all-region second team in comprised of Bellarmine’s Dan Schiavi; Cedarville’s Jarrett Kersten; Davis & Elkins’ James Pucci; Drury’s Nick Ammann, Ryan Haas and Jack Mathis; Indianapolis’ Max Rohda, Andrew Verhonik and Daniel Wellman; Lake Erie’s Joseph Coombs; Quincy’s Steve McAnany and Ethan Venvertloh; and Tiffin’s Emmanuel Adjei, Michael McPeek and Alex Tuliraba.
