NSCAA Men's Soccer Poll: SVSU 11th, NU 17th

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Saginaw Valley State improved seven positions to No. 11 in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Men's Soccer Rankings. The Cardinals improved to 14-2-0 on the year with a pair of road victories over Tiffin (2-0) and Findlay (3-2) to remain tied atop the conference standings with Northwood. The Timberwolves (13-1-1) started their week with a big 3-0 win at Findlay before stealing a point in a 2-2 tie at Tiffin on Sunday where Northwood scored with 17 seconds remaining to send the match into overtime. NU trailed 2-0 with five minutes to play before Keaton Levock (86') and Connor Cole (90') kept the Timberwolves' GLIAC title hopes alive.

No. 17 Northwood now sits two points behind No. 11 Saginaw Valley State in the league standings. The two rivals will meet on Friday at 2:30 pm at Braddock Field on the campus of Saginaw Valley State University with the winner earning the 2015 GLIAC Men's Soccer Championship and hosting duties for next week's conference tournament.
