BAY CITY, Mich. - Northern Michigan University sophomore Molly Kearney (Sacramento, Calif.) and freshman Logan Bauer (Botkins, Ohio) were named Great Lake Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Women's and Men's Swimming & Diving "Athletes of the Week," respectively, for their efforts last weekend.

Molly Kearney - Northern Michigan University
Sophomore - Sacramento, Calif.
Northern Michigan University sophomore Molly Kearney won both diving events at the Border War Invite from UW-Stevens Point over the weekend. On Friday, Kearney qualified for the NCAA Championship, scoring 393.5 in the one-meter. She won the three-meter with 400.8 points on Saturday. Kearney has won all diving events so far this season.
GLIAC Men's Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week:
Logan Bauer – Malone University
Freshman - Botkins, Ohio
Malone University freshman Logan Bauer won the one-meter-board diving event vs. Lake Erie College on Friday and then won the three-meter-board competition vs. Urbana University on Saturday, with both events being held at the C.T. Branin Natatorium in Canton, OH. On Friday, Bauer scored a school-record 569.45 points (11 dives) on the one-meter, earning the "A" cut, and then, on Saturday, tallied a school-record 523.10 points (11 dives) on the three-meter for another "A" cut. With his outstanding scores, Bauer eclipsed the NCAA Division II "A" Standard on 1-meter (440.00) and 3-meter (460.00) by 129.45 and 63.10 points, respectively.
