BAY CITY, Mich. -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced its eighth and final men's tennis weekly awards of the 2017 campaign. Grand Valley State sophomore Sebastien Lescoulie has been named GLIAC Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week.
ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Sebastien Lescoulie, Grand Valley State
Grand Valley State sophomore Sebastien Lescoulie went 2-0 over the weekend in No. 1 Singles, taking down Tiffin’s Luis Ludena in a 6-4, 6-4 contest. Lescoulie also defeated Walsh’s Vasily Vidmanov by a score of 6-0, 6-4. In doubles, Lescoulie paired with Jack Heiniger at No. 2 Doubles and went 2-0 over the weekend. The Laker duo defeated Agustin Mangone and Elio Lezama of Tiffin 8-3 and took down Walsh’s Vasily Vidmanov and Rodrigo Garcia 8-2.
