NEW ORLEANS – Without the benefit of data from last season being a contributing factor in this week's rankings, it was most definitely a "moving" week for many of the teams across the country.
In just the second year of the program’s history, Grand Canyon is the new No. 1 men’s team in the country. Ashland moved from fifth to No. 2 marking their first time in the top three this season, and Saint Augustine’s is back in the top three at No. 3. Lincoln (Mo.) slipped from No. 1 – a position they have been since the preseason – to No. 6.
The 2012 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held in Mankato, Minn., on March 9-10.
