AU's Distance Medley Relay and UF's Taylor Chosen As GLIAC Men's Indoor Track & Field "Athletes of the Week"

BAY CITY, Mich. -  Ashland University's Distance Medley Relay Team of junior Jacob Sussman (Wadsworth, Ohio/Wadsworth),   junior Jacob Cook (Lima, Ohio/Allen East), sophomore Drew Windle (New Albany, Ohio/New Albany), sophomore Brian Baum (Marlington, Ohio/Marlington) and The University of Findlay junior Taylor Miller (Waynesfield, Ohio) have been chosen as the GLIAC Men's Indoor Track & Field "Athletes of the Week."

Distance Medley Relay Team

The AshlandUniversity men's distance relay team posted a time of 9:48.05 last week at the Findlay Classic. That time is an automatic qualification for the NCAA national meet. That clocking is a school record and it is a Findlay Classic record and a Findlay facility record. The AU quartet has the fastest time in the country.

Taylor Miller - The University of Findlay
Junior - Waynesfield, Ohio

The University of Findlay junior Taylor Miller finished second in the shot put at the Findlay Classic with a NCAA provisional qualifying heave of 59’02.75.  The mark is also the top throw in the country for men’s shot putters thus far.

The Waynesfield, Ohio native also registered an 11th place finish in the weight throw at 53’00.25.
