Tiffin's Hargrove and Findlay's Leggett Chosen As GLIAC Men's Indoor Track & Field "Athletes of the Week"

BAY CITY, Mich. -  Tiffin University freshman Lamar Hargrove (Cincinnati, Ohio/North College Hill HS) and University of Findlay junior Demorrio Leggett (Bardstown, Ky.) have been chosen as the GLIAC Men's Indoor Track & Field "Athletes of the Week."

 

GLIAC Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week:

Lamar Hargrove - Tiffin University
Freshman - Cincinnati, Ohio/North College Hill HS

Tiffin University freshman Lamar Hargrove ran 21.91 to win the 200-meter dash at the Otterbein Invitational.  His time hit the NCAA Provisional mark and is the fastest in the GLIAC and fifth fastest in the country so far this season.

 

 

 

 

 

 

GLIAC Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week:

 

Demorrio Leggett - University of Findlay
Junior -
Bardstown, Ky. / Bardstown/Iowa Central/Union

University of Findlay junior Demorrio Leggett led the Oilers at their Northwest Ohio Invitational on Jan. 17 by taking first place in the triple jump with a NCAA provisional qualifying leap of 49’04.50.  He also finished fifth in the long jump at 21’03.25.
