Findlay's Webster and  Welch Chosen As GLIAC Men's Indoor Track & Field "Athletes of the Week"

BAY CITY, Mich. - University of Findlay junior Dillon Webster (New Bremen, Ohio/New Bremen) and junior Justin Welch (Luckey, Ohio/Eastwood) have been chosen as the GLIAC Men's Indoor Track & Field "Athletes of the Week."

 

GLIAC Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week:

Dillon Webster - University of Findlay
Junior - New Bremen, Ohio/New Bremen

University of Findlay junior Dillon Webster had a great day for the Oilers at the Findlay Open after taking first place in the 800-meter run with a NCAA provisional qualifying time of 1:52.53.

 

 

 

 

 

 

GLIAC Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week:

Justin Welch - University of Findlay
Junior - Luckey, Ohio/Eastwood

University of Findlay junior Justin Welch took third place in the elite weight throw competition at the Findlay Open on Jan. 31 with a school record breaking and NCAA automatic qualifying toss of 72’02.25. The throw is the longest throw in the nation among NCAA DII competitors.
