Lake Erie's Snyder and Findlay's Miller Chosen As GLIAC Men's Outdoor Track & Field "Athletes of the Week"

BAY CITY, Mich. - Lake Erie College junior Ethan Snyder (Salesville, Ohio/Buckeye Trail) and the University of Findlay junior Taylor Miller (Waynesfield, Ohio/Goshen) have been chosen as the GLIAC Men's Outdoor Track & Field "Athletes of the Week."

Salesville, Ohio/Buckeye Trail

Lake Erie College redshirt junior All-American Ethan Snyder (Salesville, Ohio/Buckeye Trail) put on a strong performance in a crowded field this weekend at the Raleigh Relays hosted by NC State to earn GLIAC Men’s Track “Athlete of the Week” honors. Snyder placed fourth in the 400-meter hurdles with a team of 52.00 seconds. That NCAA provisional qualifying time is a season best and currently has him ranked second in the event on the Division II performance list. Snyder also competed in the 110-meter hurdles, winning his heat with a time of 14.78 seconds to finish 12th.

Taylor Miller - The University of Findlay
Junior -
Waynesfield, Ohio/Goshen

The University of Findlay junior Taylor Miller placed second in the shot put at the Toledo Collegiate Challenge with a NCAA automatic qualifying heave of 18.10 meters.  His toss is currently the second best mark in the nation at the NCAA Division II level.

 Miller also added a sixth place finish in the discus at 46.19 meters and was ninth in the hammer throw at 47.62 meters.
