GVSU Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field Teams Win 2014 GLIAC Championships

GENEVA, Ohio - The Grand Valley State track and field teams continued their dominance on the GLIAC on Friday (May 2), claiming both the men's and women's 2014 GLIAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships at the SPIRE Institute. For the women, it was their 15th straight outdoor conference crown, while the men claimed their third title in the last four years.

On both the men's and women's team scores, GVSU outdistanced Ashland in second place and Tiffin in third. The men's score of 207.5 led the way, followed by Ashland (171), Tiffin (100), Hillsdale (55.5) and Findlay (50) to round out the top five. The women's score of 185.5 points led Ashland (120), Tiffin (90), Findlay (75.5) and Malone (49) in the top five.
