BAY CITY, Mich. - Lake Superior State University sophomore Ben Deuling (Muskegon, Mich./Orchard View) and Walsh University junior Kelsey Dickey (Cortland, Ohio/Lakeview) have been chosen as the Men's & Women's Cross Country "Runners of the Week", respectively.

Lake Superior State University sophomore Ben Deuling placed second overall and first among team scorers at Saturday’s three-team Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Preview Meet hosted by Michigan Tech. Deuling, who also led the Lakers and set a personal record the previous week at Michigan State, clocked a 27:01:7 on the eight kilometer course to pace the Lakers at Michigan Tech. Lake Superior State won the team event with 19 points.

Walsh University junior Kelsey Dickey has been selected as the
Great Lake Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Runner of the Week
for her performance at the National Catholic Invitational Meet,
held this past Friday at the University of Notre Dame in Sound
Bend, Indiana. Dickey recorded a personal best time of 18:35.5 on
the five kilometer courrse, which was good for a fifth place in a
field of 199. As a team, Walsh finished 12th in the field of 26
teams.
