Ferris State Appears At No. 6 In The Latest NFCA Division II Top 25 Coaches' Poll

Bay City, Mich. -- The Ferris State University softball team improved one position to #6 in the latest NFCA Division II Top 25 Coaches' Poll. The Bulldogs own a 12-2 record, and received 283 points to land in the sixth spot.

NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll #5 March 25, 2009

Angelo State continues atop the NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll, holding 12 of a possible 16 first-place votes for 396 points. Alabama-Huntsville stands in second place with the remaining four first-place votes and 387 points, closing the gap from last week. The polls Top-five remains the same as last week with North Georgia, Southeastern Oklahoma and Humboldt State following UAH in the poll.

The NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll is voted on by 16 NCAA Division II head coaches, two representing each of the eight NCAA regions. Records shown are through games of March 22, 2009. First-place votes are in parentheses.
