Grand Valley State No. 20 in NFCA Poll

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Valdosta State topped the NFCA Division II Top 25 poll for the fourth consecutive week when the latest rankings were released by the Association on Wednesday.

The Blazers (41-2) became the first team since Alabama-Huntsville on Feb. 29 to receive all 16 first-place votes.  Indianapolis (42-3) held tight at No. 2, while Central Oklahoma (34-3) moved up one from fourth to third.  Both Valdosta and Central Oklahoma are in the midst of extended winning streaks, with the Blazers having won their last 35 games and Bronchos their last 32.  Kutztown (40-1), in the midst of its own 32 game win-streak, moved up one spot to fourth this week, while Tampa (34-5) jumped two spots to fifth.

The NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll is voted on by 16 NCAA Division II head coaches, two representing each of the eight NCAA regions. Current 2012 records are shown, first-place votes are in parentheses.
