Wayne State's Butler Advances To Final 10 for NFCA Player of the Year

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Wayne State University graduate student Lyndsay Butler (Cambridge, Ont.) is one of 10 finalists for the 2017 Schutt Sports/NFCA DII Player of the Year.

Butler, the reigning NFCA Player of the Year, has helped lead the youthful Warriors to a 37-13 mark.  The pitcher/outfielder is just one of three seniors on the roster that currently consists of six freshmen, four sophomores and four juniors.
