NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships Qualifiers Announced

INDIANAPOLIS --- The NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s Track and Field and Cross Country Committee has announced the participants for the 2017 NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championships. A total of 540 participants, 270 men and 270 women, will compete in the championships. Student-athletes qualified for the championships by reaching the automatic and provisional standards established for each event.

On the Men's side, both Ashland and Grand Valley State are sending 14 S-As, with 84 schools represented. On the Women's side, GVSU leads the 85 schools represented sending 12 S-As.

The championships will be held March 9-11 in Birmingham, Alabama at the Birmingham CrossPlex, as part of the 2017 NCAA Division II National Championships Festival. The University of Alabama in Huntsville and the City of Birmingham will serve as co-hosts of the championships. The championships will be streamed live on www.NCAA.com
