NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships Central
BRADENTON, Fla. -- Grand Valley State finished runner-up with 44 points and seven All-American performances at the 2017 NCAA Division II Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships behind the national champions from West Texas A&M with 64 points. In men's competition, both Ashland and Tiffin went into the final race of the meet tied for the lead with 50 points before St. Augustine (58) and Lincoln (52) jumped in front to take the title away as the Eagles and Dragons finished in a tie for third place.
In total, the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) accumulated 49 All-American finishers inside the Top 8 with four individual national championships achieved by GLIAC student-athletes and seven finishing runner-up.
