2017 GLIAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships Central

BAY CITY, Mich. -- The 2017 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships continued on Thursday (May 4) on the campus of Grand Valley State University at the GVSU Track & Field Stadium. It was a cool and breezy day in Allendale but the competition was fast and furious as preliminary action took place in most running events, while champions of distance races and several field events were crowned. 

The Grand Valley State women (33.5 pts) hold a slight edge over Hillsdale (30) in second, while Findlay (25) sits third with Ashland (22) and Wayne State (21.5) positioned fourth and fifth, respectively. On the mens side, Ashland (55) leads by ten points over Tiffin (44) with the three-time defending champions Grand Valley State (40) in third, while Saginaw Valley is slotted fourth with 31 points.
