NEW ORLEANS — The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced the All-Region honorees for the 2016-17 NCAA Division II indoor track & field season. The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) earned a total of 150 region awards, including 81 in men's competition and 69 in women's action.
The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each of the members of the regions' top-3 relay teams. The regions used for this award – Atlantic, Central, East, Midwest, South, South Central, Southeast and West – match those used during the cross country season.

On the women's side 493 women captured the honor from 120 different institutions.
A total of 15 women notched four All-Region honors. Minnesota Duluth's Breanna Colbenson and Emilee Trost, Grand Valley State's Kendra Foley and Angela Ritter, Alabama-Huntsville's Alexis Luckett and Angel Sillivant and Lee (Tenn.)'s Adrian Martin and Audrey Smith each posted a pair of four-award winners.
As a team, the men's program at Lee (Tenn.) hauled in 26 total honorees, while American International (24), Alabama-Huntsville (23), Southern Connecticut (22) and Mount Olive (22) were right behind. Ashland and Grand Valley State each had 20.
