Official USTFCCCA Rankings Release: MEN | WOMEN
(Men's Rankings) — The top two teams in the Men’s National Division II Team Rankings, as released by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Tuesday, remained the same, but some new faces reemerged on the scene after a few weeks outside of the top-15.
Ashland remained in first place for the 5th-consecutive week, with Nick Hall posting the 8th-best mark in the mile in Division II on the season (4:04.37) and Elijah Talk recording a mark of 18.13m (59-5 ¾) in the shot put for the 3rd-longest mark on the year at the Kent State Tune-Up.
Tiffin gained ground in the top-5, jumping to 3rd after sitting a spot lower for the last two weeks. Reginald Thomas ran the 2nd-best time in Division II in the 60 meters on the year for the Dragons lst weekend, recording a mark of 6.69, while Marquise Corbett’s mark of 7.64m (25-0 ¾) from last weekend is good for 3rd in Division II.
(Women's Rankings) — Grand Valley State remains in the top spot for the 5th-consecutive week despite seeing just one new provisional mark in the top-25, as Chant’e Roberts ran a 55.99 in the 400 meters.
The 2017 NCAA Division II Track & Field Championships will be held in Birmingham, Alabama, on March 10-11. Be sure to check www.USTFCCCA.org throughout the season to see how the rankings change between now and then.
