BAY CITY, Mich. - Wayne State University junior center Shareta Brown (Pontiac, Mich.) and Hillsdale College junior forward Megan Fogt (Anna, Ohio) have been chosen as the GLIAC Women's Basketball North and South Division "Players of the Week", respectively.

Wayne State University junior center Shareta Brown averaged 24.3
points, 15 rebounds, two assists and one block per game as the
Warriors posted three wins last week. Two of the wins coming on the
road, as WSU defeated Grand Valley State (78-76), and Lake Superior
State (81-71), and defeating Ferris State at home (88-83). She shot
54.5 percent (24-44) from the floor, 62.5 percent (5-8) from beyond
the arc and 77 percent (20-26) from the foul line for the No. 18
ranked team in the nation that leads the conference at 14 wins and
one loss.

Hillsdale College junior forward
Megan Fogt led the Chargers to a 3-0 record against South Division
rivals Walsh (106-105), Malone (85-69) and Findlay (66-61). In
Saturday’s 4OT win at Walsh (106-105), Fogt recorded the
first 40-20 game in school history, scoring a career-high 41 points
to go along with 24 rebounds and five blocked shots. She hit the
game-winning free throw in the fourth overtime vs. the Cavs, and
Monday against Findlay, recorded her conference-leading 16th
double-double of the 2013-14 season.
