BAY CITY, Mich. - Northern Michigan University junior guard Alyssa Colla (Muskego, Wis./Muskego) and Hillsdale College junior forward Megan Fogt (Anna, Ohio/Anna) have been chosen as the GLIAC Women's Basketball North and South Division "Players of the Week", respectively.
GLIAC North Division Player of the Week:

guard Alyssa Colla led the Wildcats scoring a game-high 25 points
in the Wildcats only game of the week last week, a 67-59 win over
Michigan Tech. Colla went 7-15 from the field and 1-3 from three
point range while draining 10-11 from the free throw line.
Colla also collected six rebounds, two assists and had two steals.
Colla leads the Wildcats averaging 16.8 points per game and has
started in all 26 games this season. Colla ranks second in the
conference in minutes played (35.2), third in FT percentage (99.2),
third in field goals made (160-345), and fourth in points per game
(16.8).

Megan Fogt set a GLIAC single-game record by shooting 14-for-15
from the field (.933) in a loss to the University of Findlay
Thursday night. After missing her first shot, she made 14 in a row,
including her first career 3-pointer, as part of a 29-point,
21-rebound performance. It was her fourth 20-20 game of the season
and her eighth 20-rebound game of 2013-14. Fogt leads the GLIAC in
rebounding at 16.2 rebounds per game, she is second in scoring
averaging 20.2 points per game, and she is also second in field
goal percentage at 60.6.
